Majid S. Mohamod, Ph.D.Β
Geological Engineer | Geotechnical & Hydrological Remote Sensing | Geospatial AnalystΒ
I am a Geological Engineer with a Ph.D. in Geological Engineering and extensive experience in geotechnical engineering (supported by a graduate certificate), hydrological remote sensing, and geospatial analysis. My expertise spans satellite data processing, water quality inspection, and advanced computer modeling technologies, applied to infrastructure, environmental management, and natural hazard assessments.
With hands-on experience in geotechnical investigations, subsurface analysis, and remote sensing applications, I leverage state-of-the-art tools like ArcGIS, SWAT, MODFLOW, SAP2000, and LiDAR to analyze terrain stability, groundwater flow, and environmental risks. My work integrates machine learning, GIS automation, and numerical modeling to develop data-driven solutions for geotechnical, hydrological, and environmental challenges.Β
Whether itβs detecting land deformation, assessing water resources, or optimizing engineering designs, I combine scientific research with cutting-edge technology to drive impactful results.
